Pulled in late, Melanie had put our key on lock box so we were all set. Room was clean and nicely thought out! Shower hot, bed comfortable, quiet surroundings on an icy night! Only thing that would have made it better was a coffee maker in the room! Had micro/fridge and everything else needed for a great stay! So close!
Stayed one night at High Point Mountain Motel and it was absolutely perfect! Check-in ends at 9 PM, but due to travel delays I arrived late. I called ahead and they were incredibly accommodating - professionally resolved my issue and had my room ready upon arrival with warm, friendly service! The room was immaculate: • Bedsheets, pillows, towels smelled amazingly fresh and refreshing (every time I turned in bed, that clean scent was heavenly!) • Spectacular views of snow-covered nature right outside • Everything spotless and comfortable This motel exceeded every expectation. Their flexibility with late check-in and pristine room quality made for a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend - will definitely return!
The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable beads with incredible clean lines and the location was perfect. A special thank you to the team for the cleaning service. I’ve never seen such a clean room in the hotel before — your hospitality truly made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and it is absolutely I’ll definitely be back!

If you are staying in the region, look here before you book a chain hotel in the area. Our room was so cozy, comfy and while updated in every place it needed to be, it remains the charm of its MCM roots. They were flexible with our need to check in late at night which was much appreciated.
Great Motel close to rhe Appalachian Trail, many hikers including I enjoyed staying at. Good price for the area, great location to the trail and state park up the road. Rooms are clean, well kept, service very friendly and down to earth. Will return whenever I'm in the area again, thanks for a wonderful experience. Only thing I recommend is for them to add blackout curtains to each room, the sun was a bit bright and woke me up early in the morning, pretty sunrise at least but would be helpful to allow customers to sleep in.
What a great place to stay, a total hidden gem tucked in Sussex County! The rooms are immaculate, offering wonderful big screen high definition televisions, full sized refrigerators & wonderful decorations and linens! Melanie the host, is more than accommodating & super friendly!! Highly recommended place to stay!
